We recognize that our business is stronger and more successful when supported by a diverse workforce. Our goal is to maintain and promote diversity and foster an inclusive environment where our differences are celebrated.
Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, comprised of leaders from cross functional areas provide oversight and resources to enhance our diversity and inclusion initiatives. This team regularly reports to the Governance and Compensation and Human Resources Committee about the diversity and compensation of our workforce.
JBSS has five Employee led Resource Groups (ERG’s) that are dedicated to fostering team building, providing resources, and improving communication between diverse groups and management. These groups meet regularly and host dozens of events across the organization.
JBSS has a strong training program that educates leaders on inclusive communication strategies and employees undergo annual training on our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts.
